While we continue to plan for the season ahead, the final approval and ability to operate camp in our ‘typical overnight capacity’ will come directly from The Provincial Public Health Office (PHO). We continue to monitor the situation closely and remain hopeful that future developments will enable us to operate camp in our ‘typical overnight capacity’ this summer, as long as it meets our and your top priority – that it can be done in a safe and healthy way.

In addition to planning our typical summer program, our management team has been working exceptionally hard in developing our alternative ‘Plan B’ program should the decision by our PHO mean the cancellation of overnight summer camps. These modified programs will include a combination of Day Camps and Family Camping options at Camp Summit. Registration information for these alternative programs will be shared with families once a decision has been made by Public Health.

We feel a huge sense of responsibility to once again take a thoughtful and informed approach as we continue to prepare for the summer and appreciate your patience as we await a decision from Public Health.
