SUMMER CAMP
After an incredibly successful season we are excited to look ahead to what Summer 2026 has in store! Please be sure to thoroughly review the details below and reach out to our office should you have any questions.
We deeply appreciate our dedicated base of returning families, but this also means our capacity for new families is limited. Traditionally, we welcome back between 87% – 92% of campers from the previous year, leaving only a small margin of available space for first-time campers.
Session eligibility is based on the grade your camper is CURRENTLY in as of September 1, 2025 (i.e. the start of the current 2025/2026 school year) Registration + Cancellation Policies
All sessions are overnight programs – Camp Summit does not offer Day Camp programs.
Summer 2026 Availabilty Update
We deeply appreciate our dedicated base of returning families, but this also means our capacity for new families is limited. Traditionally, we welcome back between 87% and 94% of returning campers from the previous year, leaving only a small margin of available space for first-time campers. Because of this high return rate, openings are limited and often fill quickly.
We encourage families to add themselves to our waitlist by creating a family account under the ‘Register for Camp’ tab below. Our goal is to ensure that as many interested families as possible have the opportunity to join our community, even when availability is tight.
Base Camp
For campers aged 4 - 6 years oldAugust 21 – 23, 2026
Base Camp is a 2 night / 3 day overnight experience. This is a great introductory program for our youngest campers!
Discovery Camp
Grade 1 - 5August 16 – 20, 2026
Discovery Camp is a 4 night / 5 day overnight experience. This is a great introductory program for first time campers in Grade 1 – 5
Summer Blast
Grade 2 - 8(A) June 27 – July 3, 2026
(B) July 6 – 12, 2026
(C) July 30- August 5, 2026
(D) August 8 – 14, 2026
Summer Blast is a 6 night / 7 day overnight experience. This is a great all around program for campers new and returning in Grade 2 – 8
Adventure Challenge
Grade 5 - 8July 15 – 27, 2026
Adventure Challenge is a 13 day overnight experience for campers new and returning!
In addition to their time at Camp, campers will experience a 3/4 night backcountry camping trip with their cabin group! No previous hiking/camping experience required.
SLC 1
Campers in Grade 9(1A) June 27 – July 9, 2026
(1B) July 12 – 24, 2026
(1C) July 29 – August 10, 2026
(1D) August 11 – 23, 2026
SLC 1 is a 13 day leadership program that includes a 5 Day Canoe Trip in Powell River.
SLC 2
Campers in Grade 10(2A) July 1 – July 21, 2026
(2B) July 19 – August 8, 2026
(2C) August 3 – 23, 2026
SLC 2 is a 21 day leadership program that includes a 6 Day hiking trip along the Juan de Fuca. Participants will also take part in a weeklong placement working with a cabin group for practical training working with youth.
LIT
Campers in Grade 11(a) June 27 – July 27, 2026
(B) July 28 – August 23, 2026
All LIT participants are required to attend (to the best of our ability) our Pre-Camp Training , taking place from June 22 – June 26, 2026
LIT is a month-long leadership program for teens in Grade 11 that are interested in working with youth and taking on new responsibilities at Camp. The program includes practical in cabin placements, leadership workshops and an backcountry camping experience!
Applications for the Leaders in Training Program (LIT) are handled differently than our typical summer camp registrations. Individuals who would like to participate in the LIT program will be able to apply for the program by submitting a personal LIT Application online. LIT applications must be submitted by the applicant themselves and not a family member or guardian.
