Campership Program
We have always felt that no child should be precluded from experiencing camp due to an inability to afford the registration fee. As such, we began our Campership Program as an ongoing initiative to support campers through their time at Camp Summit until their family no longer needs assistance. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our Summit families and friends in our community, over 250 children have been given the gift of summer camp who otherwise would not have been able to attend.
Campership Applications for the 2019 Season will be available in the new year. Please check back here or contact us for further information.
Help Send a Kid to Camp!
The camping experience is transformative: it teaches cooperation, understanding, acceptance of others, sportsmanship and environmental ethics in a safe and supportive community. Children come to camp from all walks of life and for this reason, camp celebrates diversity and promotes tolerance. It holds a type of mirror up so children can self-reflect and believe, no matter what their color, gender or socioeconomic circumstances, that who they are is beautiful inside and out.
As we look to another fantastic camping season ahead, we are truly grateful to feel the continued support of our Campership Program throughout the year by our amazing Summit families, staff and community members. When you donate to the Campership fund you have not only contributed to a Summer Camp experience but you are contributing to changing the life of a child.
